A new strip mall is nearing completion in Rose Park, bringing additional local retail and dining options to the Westside. Located on 700 North just east of Redwood Road, the two-building retail space is currently set to open with two restaurants, a coffee shop, and a CBD store.

Loco Burger, a local casual restaurant chain specializing in Mexican burgers, is set to open their third location. The chain is in the final planning and permitting stages with the city, and hopes to finish soon. “If everything works out, we’ll be open by July 4th weekend,” said a representative. Besides various American and Mexican burgers, their menu also contains chicken tenders, side dishes like fries and chilis locos, and mini cakes.

Another local favorite, Señor Pollo Mexican Grill, will also occupy a space in the center. They specialize in Sinaloa-style grilled chicken, claiming it’s actually the best in Utah. Permitting documents submitted to Salt Lake City show Señor Pollo aims to open this coming September.

With several spaces still available, additional shopping or dining options will be coming to Rose Park in the near future. Photo by Andy Cupp.

Conifer Coffee Co. is a newcomer to the area, and will operate both a walk-in cafe with seating and a drive-thru. All In One Stop CBD is set to round out the initial businesses operating in the complex.

Several spaces are still available, meaning additional shopping or dining options could be coming to that part of Rose Park. Those interested in leasing a space should contact SITUS Retail Group by calling 801-266-1333.
